Using Professional Photos
Photos are everywhere these days. Particulary on the internet.
we've been providing Photography Lessons in York as well as photography services for years.
It still amazes me how many small (and not too small!) companies produce expensive literature and websites, using terrible photos.
Obviously everyone's trying to reduce costs, but you wouldn't release an advert full of typos, so why accept poor photos!
It doesn't cost as much as many think to provide quality photos - in some cases you could use Stock photos - though you need to choose carefully. Or you could do an online search for commercial photographers in your area. You'll probably find there's a wide range, in both quality and price. View their portfolios, look for testimonials, and ask for a quote.
If you're providing a quality product or service, doesn't it deserve to be professionally represented?!

Shortest Day of the Year!
I'm not a fan of mid-winter - Christmas apart.
Landscape photographers - and those who've attended our landscape course, will be well aware of the 'Golden Hour'. Today the golden hours lasted most of the day!
I had a free day, so packed the 4x4 (useful bit of kit for the landscape photographer!), and headed for the Dales. Sadly my main lens is playing up, but I managed to get a few off.
